Saphala Ekadashi~सफला एकादशी 2019 will be celebrated on Sunday, 22nd December 2019.

After bathing on the day of Ekadashi, wear a pure garment and apply Shrikhand Chandan or Gopi Chandan on the forehead and pray and make a lime of Laxmi Narayan with Kamal or Vaijayanti flowers, fruits, Ganga water, Panchamrta, Sun, Deep. If you want in the evening, you can make fruit after Deep Dana. After the worship of Lord on the day of Dvashashi, after feeding the ritualistic Brahmin, after eating Lord Jainu and Dakshina, take food after departing. Those devotees, like this, keep a fast of Ekadashi and in the night, awakening and reciting the Kirtan, they get more fruits than the virtues obtained by the best yagna.
सफला एकादशी के दिन श्रीहरिके विभिन्न नाम-मंत्रों का उच्चारण करते हुए फलों के द्वारा उनका पूजन करें। धूप-दीप से देवदेवेश्वरश्रीहरिकी अर्चना करें। सफला एकादशी के दिन दीप-दान जरूर करें। रात को वैष्णवों के साथ नाम-संकीर्तन करते हुए जगना चाहिए। एकादशी का रात्रि में जागरण करने से जो फल प्राप्त होता है, वह हजारों वर्ष तक तपस्या करने पर भी नहीं मिलता। व्रत विधान के विषय में जैसा कि श्री कृष्ण कहते हैं दशमी की तिथि को शुद्ध और सात्विक आहार एक समय लेना चाहिए. इस दिन आचरण भी सात्विक होना चाहिए. व्रत करने वाले को भोग विलास एवं काम की भावना को त्याग कर नारायण की छवि मन में बसाने हेतु प्रयत्न करना चाहिए. एकादशी तिथि के दिन प्रात: स्नान कर शुद्ध वस्त्र धारण कर माथे पर श्रीखंड चंदन अथवा गोपी चंदन लगाकर कमल अथवा वैजयन्ती फूल, फल, गंगा जल, पंचामृत, धूप, दीप, सहित लक्ष्मी नारायण की पूजा एवं आरती करें. संध्या काल में अगर चाहें तो दीप दान के पश्चात फलाहार कर सकते हैं. द्वादशी के दिन भगवान की पूजा के पश्चात कर्मकाण्डी ब्राह्मण को भोजन करवा कर जनेऊ एवं दक्षिणा देकर विदा करने के पश्चात भोजन करें. जो भक्त इस प्रकार सफला एकादशी का व्रत रखते हैं व रात्रि में जागरण एवं भजन कीर्तन करते हैं उन्हें श्रेष्ठ यज्ञों से जो पुण्य मिलता उससे कहीं बढ़कर फल की प्राप्ति होती है.
