संक्रांति दिवस प्राय तब मनाया जाता है जब सूर्य एक राशि से दूसरी राशि में भ्रमण करता है। एक वर्ष में बारह संक्रांतियाँ होती हैं। धानु संक्रांति या धनु संक्रांति हिंदू लोककथाओं के अनुसार एक शुभ दिन है और जो की सूर्य के धनु राशि में प्रवेश करने पर होता है। उड़ीसा में इसका बहुत ही ज्यादा महत्व है और जहां इस दिन को बड़े धूमधाम के साथ मनाया जाता है। धनुर मास की शुरुआत भगवान जगन्नाथ को अर्पित की गई विशेष पूजा के साथ देखी जाती है। धनुर मास को मकर संक्रांति के काल से शुरू किया जाता है।
लगभग 15 दिनों तक चलने वाले इस पूरे उत्सव के दौरान, बरगढ़ शहर मथुरा बनने की ओर बढ़ता है, जुरा नदी यमुना बनने की ओर बढ़ती है, और अंबापल्ली को गोकुल के रूप में चित्रित किया जाता है। सभी बड़े होते दिखाई पड़ते हैं और इस दौरान कई नाटक और मधुर प्रदर्शन भी होते हैं। लगभग 5 किलोमीटर का पूरा इलाका एक थिएटर की तरह हो जाता है जहाँ भारी संख्या में लोग शामिल होते हैं और भगवान कृष्ण के जीवन के विभिन्न दृश्यों को देखने के लिए हतोत्साहित रहते हैं।
इस दिन सूर्य भगवान और भगवान जगन्नाथ की पूजा की जाती है। श्रद्धालु नदियों की सफाई करते हैं, उदाहरण के लिए, गंगा, यमुना और गोदावरी। संग्रह के मौसम के बाद, एक जबरदस्त त्योहार की तैयारी की जाती है। धनु मुआन को अच्छे चावल की बीजो से स्थापित किया जाता है और भगवान जगन्नाथ को चढ़ाया जाता है।
इस दिन एक नुक्कड़ नाटक भी किया जाता है जो भगवान कृष्ण के जीवन की विभिन्न घटनाओं को दर्शाता है। दृश्यों में से एक भगवान कृष्ण की मथुरा यात्रा पर दर्शाता है, कंस द्वारा बनाई गई धनुष सेवा का निरीक्षण करने के बहाने से उन्हें मारने के उद्देश्य से भगवान कृष्ण और भगवान बलराम का मथुरा से बुलाया था। धनु संक्रांति के वार्षिक उत्सव पर भगवान कृष्ण के विश्व में परिचय से लेकर कंस के वध तक के दृश्यों का प्रदर्शन किया जाता है। भगवद पुराण में संदर्भित विभिन्न प्रकरण अधिकृत हैं। स्थानीय लोग असाधारण ऊर्जा के साथ नाटक में रुचि लेते हैं। इस दौरान धनु यात्रा आयोजित की जाती है।
धनु संक्रांति का महत्व
धनु संक्रांति पुरी में भगवान जगन्नाथ के कारण पूरी तरह से महत्वपूर्ण है, यह भारत के सभी हिस्सों में और यहां तक कि विदेशों में भी इसका महत्व है। शुक्ल पक्ष में पौष महीने के 6 वें दिन धनु यात्रा का उत्सव शुरू होता है और पौष माह की पूर्णिमा तक चलता है। इस दिन आयोजित किए गए दैवीय प्रसाद में बेहतर चावल के चिप्स शामिल होते हैं, जो पूजा सेवा के दौरान मंदिरो में दिए जाने वाले भक्तो के लिए उपयुक्त होते हैं और पूजा के बाद घरों में स्थापित करते हैं।
धनु संक्रांति के अनुष्ठान:
स्नान के पश्चात , सूर्य देव को जल चढ़ाया जाता है और दिन के पहले हिस्से में उनकी स्तुति की जाती है
इस दिन भगवान जगन्नाथ की विशेष रूप से उड़ीसा में पूजा की जाती है
श्रद्धालु शुक्ल पक्ष में छठवें दिन से धनु यात्रा का उत्सव शुरू करते हैं और यह पौष माह की पूर्णिमा को होता है।
महिलांए चावल की मिठाइयाँ बनाती हैं और फिर भगवान को अर्पित करती हैं।
नुक्कड़ नाटक आयोजित किए जाते हैं जिसमें "बो फंक्शन" को चित्रित किया जाता है।
व्यक्ति गरीब लोगों और निराश्रितों को उपहार देते हैं।
Sankranti day is often celebrated when the sun travels from one zodiac to another. There are twelve solstices in a year. Dhaanu Sankranti or Dhanu Sankranti is an auspicious day according to Hindu folklore and occurs when the Sun enters Sagittarius. It is very important in Orissa and where this day is celebrated with great pomp. The beginning of Dhanur month is observed with special worship offered to Lord Jagannath. Dhanur month is started from the time of Makar Sankranti.
During this entire festival lasting for about 15 days, the city of Bargarh moves towards becoming Mathura, the Jura River moves towards becoming Yamuna, and Ambapalli is depicted as Gokul. Everyone seems to be growing up and during this time there are many plays and sweet performances. The entire area of about 5 kilometers becomes like a theater where a large number of people join and are discouraged to see various scenes of the life of Lord Krishna.
Sun God and Lord Jagannath are worshiped on this day. Devotees clean the rivers, for example, Ganga, Yamuna and Godavari. After the season of collection, preparations are made for a tremendous festival. Dhanu Muan is established with good rice seeds and offered to Lord Jagannath.
A Nukkad Natak is also performed on this day which depicts various events in the life of Lord Krishna. One of the scenes depicts Lord Krishna's visit to Mathura, calling Lord Krishna and Lord Balarama from Mathura for the purpose of killing him by the pretext of inspecting the bow service made by Kansa. Scenes from the introduction of Lord Krishna to the slaughter of Kansa are performed on the annual festival of Dhanu Sankranti. Various episodes referred to in the Bhagavad Purana are authorized. The locals take an interest in drama with extraordinary energy. During this Dhanu Yatra is organized.
Importance of dhanu sankranti
Due to Lord Jagannath in Dhanu Sankranti Puri is completely important, it has its importance in all parts of India and even abroad. On Shukla Paksha, the festival of Dhanu Yatra begins on the 6th day of Paush month and continues till the full moon of Pausha month. Divine offerings held on this day include superior rice chips, suitable for devotees offered in temples during worship service and installed in homes after worship.
Dhanu Sankranti rituals:
After bathing, water is offered to the sun god and he is praised in the first part of the day.
On this day Lord Jagannath is specially worshiped in Orissa.
Devotees start the festival of Dhanu Yatra on the sixth day in Shukla Paksha and it happens on the full moon of Pausha month.
The women make sweets of rice and then offer it to God.
Nookkad plays are held in which the "Bow Function" is depicted.
Individuals give gifts to poor people and destitutes.
