Jagaddhatri Puja~जगद्धात्री पूजा


जगद्धात्री पूजा पश्चिम बंगाल का सबसे लोकप्रिय और महत्वपूर्ण त्यौहार है। हिंदू कैलेंडर के अनुसार, जगद्धात्री पूजा एक चार दिवसीय पर्व है जो कार्तिक माह के शुक्ल पक्ष के 7 वें दिन से आरम्भ होता है और उसी महीने के 10 वें दिन समाप्त होता है। कुछ लोग इसे दूसरी मां दुर्गा पूजा का रूप कहते हैं क्योंकि जगद्धात्री पूजा उत्सव दुर्गा पूजा के समरूप ही है। जगद्धात्री पूजा का पर्व पश्चिम बंगाल में बहुत जोश और हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया जाता है। जगद्धात्री या जगधात्री ('विश्व का रक्षक') हिंदू देवी, दुर्गा का एक रूप है।

जगद्धात्री पूजा को एक और दुर्गा पूजा के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। यह अष्टमी तिथि को आरम्भ होता है और कार्तिक माह में शुक्ल पक्ष की दशमी तिथि को समाप्त होता है। देवी जगधात्री देवी दुर्गा का एक स्वरूप हैं जिनकी पूजा पश्चिम बंगाल और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में की जाती है। जगद्धात्री (जगधात्री) का अर्थ है, जो विश्व पर राज करता है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि देवी जगद्धात्री इस दुनिया को अपने हाथों में पकड़े हुए हैं। जगद्धात्री तंत्रों की देवी हैं। उन्हें तीन नेत्रों वाली देवी और चार हाथ वाली देवी के रूप में दर्शाया गया है जो एक शेर की सवारी करती है। वह शंख, धनुष, बाण और चक्र धारण करती है। वह उज्ज्वल गहने और लाल साड़ी के श्रृंगार से प्रदर्शित की जाती है। वह कारिन्द्रसुर नामक एक मृत दानव पर खड़ी है जिसे एक हाथी के रूप में दिखाया गया है। जगद्धात्री पूजा बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत का प्रतीक  है। श्रद्धालु शुभता, समृद्धि और खुशहाली के लिए देवी की आरधना करते हैं।

जगद्धात्री पूजा पश्चिम बंगाल के हुगली जिले में मुख्य तौर पर मनाए जाने वाले महत्वपूर्ण त्योहारों में से एक है। भक्त जगद्धात्री के नाम से देवी दुर्गा के पुनर्जन्म की पूजा करते हैं और त्यौहार का आनंद लेते हैं और ऊर्जावान उत्सव की भांति लोगो के साथ उत्सव का जश्न मनाते हैं। यह त्यौहार कार्तिक माह में दुर्गा पूजा और काली पूजा के बाद चंद्रनगर, कृष्णानगर, नादिया और कोलकाता में भी मनाया जाता है।

 

जगद्धात्री पूजा उत्सव

उत्साह, उमंग के बीच शानदार पंडालों में देवी जगद्धत्री की विशाल मूर्तियों की स्थापना कर इस पर्व को भव्य तरीके से मनाया जाता है।

देवी की मूर्ति को लाल कपड़े और आभूषणों से खूबसूरती से सजाया जाता है। देवी को गले में माला भी पहनाई जाती है।

मूर्ति देवी दुर्गा के समान है, क्योंकि देवी जगद्धात्री भी अपने दो बाएं हाथों में एक शंख और एक धनुष रखती हैं और उनके दो दाहिने हाथों में एक चक्र और पांच सिर वाला तीर है और उनका पर्वत चंडी से है। इस दिन पवित्र पाठ किया जाता है और बाद में देवी की मूर्ति को दुर्गा पूजा के रूप में विसर्जित कर दिया जाता है। भक्त देवी की पूजा करने के लिए एकत्रित होते हैं और पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ इस अवसर का जश्न मनाते हैं।

It is believed that Goddess Jagaddhatri is holding this world in her hands. Jagaddhatri is the goddess of Tantras. She is depicted as a three-eyed goddess and a four-handed goddess riding a lion. She bears a conch, bow, arrow and wheel. She is seen with bright jewelry and red saree. She stands on a dead demon named Karindrasur who is depicted as an elephant. Jagaddhatri Puja signifies the victory of good over evil. Devotees offer prayers to the goddess for auspiciousness, prosperity and prosperity.

Jagaddhatri Puja is one of the important festivals celebrated mainly in Hooghly district of West Bengal. Devotees worship the reincarnation of Goddess Durga in the name of Jagaddhatri and enjoy the festival and celebrate the festival with people like an energetic festival. This festival is also celebrated in Chandranagar, Krishnanagar, Nadia and Kolkata after Durga Puja and Kali Puja in the month of Kartik.

 

Jagaddhatri Puja Festival

Amidst the excitement, this festival is celebrated in a grand manner by installing huge statues of Goddess Jagaddhatri in magnificent pandals.

The idol of the Goddess is beautifully decorated with red cloth and ornaments. The Goddess is also garlanded around the neck.

The idol is similar to the goddess Durga, as the goddess Jagaddhatri also holds a conch and a bow in her two left hands and has a chakra and five-headed arrow in her two right hands and her mountain is from Chandi. On this day sacred recitation is done and later the idol of the Goddess is immersed in Durga Puja. Devotees gather to worship the Goddess and celebrate the occasion with full reverence.
