केरल का सबरीमाला मंदिर 914 मीटर की ऊँचाई पर स्थित एक विश्व प्रसिद्ध मंदिर है। मंडला कलाम, जिसे मंडला मास कहा जाता है, इस प्रख्यात सबरीमाला मंदिर की प्राथमिक यात्रा अवधि है। मंडला कलाम 'वृश्चिकम' मौसम के मुख्य दिन से शुरू होता है और प्रचलित मलयालम कार्यक्रम के अनुसार 'धानू' मस्तम के ग्यारहवें दिन समाप्त होता है। ग्रेगोरियन कैलेंडर में, यह समय दिसंबर-जनवरी की लंबी अवधि में आता है। मंडला कलाम 41 दिनों के लिए चलता है जब दुनिया के सभी किनारों से बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु , सबरीमाला अयप्पा मंदिर में आते हैं।
मंडला कलाम की शुरुआत:
सबरीमाला मंदिर एक महत्वपूर्ण व् भव्य निर्माण श्रृंखला है जो सबरी हिल्स की लकड़ी के बीच में स्थित है। जैसा कि पवित्र ग्रंथो से संकेत मिलता है कि भगवान अयप्पा ने इस मौके पर 'महिषी' नामक दुष्ट आत्मा को मारने के लिए चिंतन किया था। मंडला कलाम या मंडला मासम सबरीमाला वेदी के लिए प्रतिबद्ध अवधि है जो 41 दिनों तक चलती है। इस अवधि के दौरान भक्त व्रत संकल्प दिखाते हैं। यात्रा सीजन के 41 दिनों के बाद, भगवान अयप्पा मंदिर तीन दिनों के समय के करीब बंद रहते है और चौथे दिन दर्शन के लिए फिर से खोला जाता है। किसी भी धर्म के एक स्थान रखने वाले व्यक्ति सबरीमाला मंदिर का दौरा कर सकते हैं क्योंकि रैंक या विचारधारा का कोई अलगाव नहीं है। पहले 10-50 साल के बीच परिपक्व होने वाली महिला प्रशंसक मंडला कलाम के दौरान सबरीमाला मंदिर जाने से प्रतिबंधित थी । फिर साल 2019 काफी महिलाओं के प्रदर्शन के बाद महिलाओं को भी इस मंदिर में प्रवेश मिल गया | सबरीमाला मंदिर की वार्षिक यात्रा अवधि नवंबर के मध्य से जनवरी के मध्य तक होती है और 'मकरविलक्कू' के त्योहारों के साथ समाप्त होती है। भगवान अयप्पा को उनके पवित्र उपदेशों की पेशकश करने के लिए कई महान भक्त मंडला कलाम के दौरान सबरीमाला तीर्थ यात्रा करते हैं।
श्रद्धालुओं को अपने चित्त को सयमित करना चाहिए और भगवान् की भक्ति पुरे मनोभाव से करनी चाहिए । मंत्र "स्वामी शरणम् अयप्पा" का आदतन पाठ किया जाना चाहिए।
पश्चाताप के दौरान भगवा या गहरे रंग के वस्त्र पहने जाने चाहिए, व् गले में रुद्राक्ष माला हो। इसका मतलब है कि वह प्रतिज्ञाओं का पालन करेगा और पवित्रता को देखेगा।
किसी भी स्थिति में मांस, शराब, शारीरिक और मौखिक दुर्व्यवहार नहीं किया जाना चाहिए।
Sabarimala temple in Kerala is a world famous temple situated at an altitude of 914 meters. Mandala Kalam, called Mandala Mas, is the primary visitation period of this famous Sabarimala temple. The mandala kalam begins on the main day of ‘Vrischikaram’ masam and ends on the eleventh day of ‘Dhanu’ Mastam as per the prevalent Malayalam program. In the Gregorian calendar, this time compares to the long period of December – January. The Mandala Kalam lasts for 41 days when a large number of devotees from all corners of the world visit the Sabarimala Ayyappa temple.
Beginning of Mandala Kalam:
The Sabarimala temple is an important and grand building chain situated in the middle of the wood of the Sabri Hills. As indicated by the holy texts, Lord Ayyappa contemplated on this occasion to kill the evil spirit called 'Mahishi'. Mandala Kalam or Mandala Masam is the committed period for the Sabarimala altar that lasts for 41 days. Devotees show precise stability during this period. After 41 days of the yatra season, the Lord Ayyappa temple remains closed for a period of three days and reopens for darshan on the fourth day. Persons holding a place of any religion can visit the Sabarimala temple as there is no separation of rank or ideology. The first female fan, who matured between 10–50 years, was prohibited from visiting the Sabarimala temple during Mandala Kalam. Then, after the performance of many women in the year 2019, women also got admission in this temple. The annual visit to the Sabarimala temple is from the middle of November to the middle of January and ends with the festivals of 'Makarvilakku'. Many great devotees undertake the Sabarimala pilgrimage during Mandala Kalam to offer their holy sermons to Lord Ayyappa.
Devotees should adjust their mind and do devotion to God with full spirit. The mantra "Swami Sharanam Ayyappa" should be recited habitually.
During repentance, saffron or dark colored clothes should be worn, and there should be a Rudraksha garland around the neck. This means that he will follow the vows and see the sanctity.
Under no circumstances should meat, alcohol, physical and verbal abuse be taken.
