भौतिक विज्ञान के संदर्भ में अगर देखे तो यह तब होता है, जब चंद्रमा सूर्य और पृथ्वी के बीच आता है, तो चंद्रमा के पीछे सूर्य की छवि कुछ समय के लिए ढंक जाती है, इसी घटना को सूर्यग्रहण कहा जाता है। पृथ्वी सूर्य के चारों ओर घूमती है और चंद्रमा पृथ्वी के चारों ओर घूमता है। इसलिए यह घटना कभी-कभी हो जाती है।
ज्योतिष की दृष्टि से सूर्य ग्रहण
ग्रहण प्रकृति का एक अद्भुत चमत्कार या अजूबा है। यदि ज्योतिष की दृष्टि से देखा जाए तो अभूतपूर्व अद्वितीय, विचित्र ज्योतिष, ग्रहों और उपग्रहों के ज्ञान और उनकी प्रकृति को स्पष्ट करते है। सूर्य ग्रहण (सूर्योपग्रह) तब होता है जब सूर्य आंशिक रूप से या पूरी तरह से चंद्रमा (अशांति / बाधा) से आच्छादित होता है। इस प्रकार के ग्रहण के लिए, चंद्रमा को पृथ्वी और सूर्य के बीच यात्रा करनी चाहिए। इसके कारण, पृथ्वी पर रहने वाले लोग सूर्य के ढके हुए हिस्से को नहीं देख पाते हैं।
प्रकार
सूर्यग्रहण तीन प्रकार के होते हैं, जिन्हें पूर्ण सूर्यग्रहण, आंशिक सूर्य ग्रहण और कुंडलाकार ग्रहण कहते हैं क्योंकि चंद्रमा द्वारा सूर्य की छवि के पूरे या कुछ हिस्से को ढंका जाता है।
1. पूर्ण सूर्य ग्रहण
पूर्ण सूर्य ग्रहण तब होता है जब चंद्रमा, पृथ्वी के करीब स्थित होता है, पृथ्वी और सूर्य के बीच यात्रा करता है, और चंद्रमा पूरी तरह से पृथ्वी को अपने छाया क्षेत्र में ले जाता है। नतीजतन, सूरज की रोशनी पृथ्वी तक नहीं पहुंचती है और पृथ्वी पर एक अंधकारीय स्थिति उत्पन्न होती है जब पृथ्वी पर पूरे सूर्य दिखाई नहीं देता है। इस तरह से हुए ग्रहण को पूर्ण सूर्य ग्रहण कहा जाता है।
2. आंशिक सूर्य ग्रहण
आंशिक सूर्य ग्रहण में, जब चंद्रमा सूर्य और पृथ्वी के बीच इस तरह से आता है कि सूर्य का केवल एक हिस्सा पृथ्वी से दिखाई नहीं देता है, अर्थात चंद्रमा सूर्य के केवल एक हिस्से को लेने में सक्षम है। इसके कारण, सूर्य का कुछ हिस्सा ग्रहण से अप्रभावित है और कुछ हिस्सा ग्रहण से प्रभावित है, इसलिए पृथ्वी के उस विशेष भाग में लगे ग्रहण को आंशिक सूर्य ग्रहण कहा जाता है।
3. कुंडलाकार सूर्य ग्रहण
कुंडलाकार सूर्य ग्रहण में, जब चंद्रमा पृथ्वी से बहुत दूर होता है, और यह पृथ्वी और सूर्य के बीच आता है, अर्थात चंद्रमा सूर्य को इस तरह से ढकता है कि सूर्य का केवल मध्य भाग छाया क्षेत्र में आता है और जब पृथ्वी से देखा जाता है तो चंद्रमा सूर्य से पूरी तरह से ढका हुआ नहीं दिखाई देता है, लेकिन यह एक कंगन या अंगूठी के रूप में प्रतीत होता है क्योंकि ग्रहण के बाहर का क्षेत्र रोशन है। कंगन आकार में बने सूर्य ग्रहण को कुंडलाकार सूर्यग्रहण कहा जाता है।
रसम रिवाज
हिंदू ग्रंथों में सूर्य गृह व् सूर्य ग्रहण के कई साक्ष्य मिलते हैं। सबसे प्रसिद्ध महाभारत युद्ध के दौरान सूर्य ग्रहण है। आमतौर पर, हिंदू सूर्य ग्रहण के दौरान कोई काम नहीं करते हैं और वे स्नान करके और मंत्रों का उच्चारण करके खुद को शुद्ध करते हैं। इस समयावधि के दौरान कई हिंदुओं द्वारा एक पूर्ण उपवास किया जाता है। हिंदू धर्म में, पवित्र नदियों में शुभ दिन के अवसर पर पर डुबकी लगाना बहुत फलदायी माना जाता है।

Astrology Eclipse

Solar eclipse (Surya Grahan) occurs when the sun is partially or completely covered by the moon (turbulence / obstruction). For this type of eclipse, the Moon must travel between the Earth and the Sun. Because of this, people living on Earth are unable to see the sun's covered part.
Types
There are three types of solar eclipse, which are called full solar eclipse, partial solar eclipse and annular eclipse because the moon covers the whole or part of the image of the sun.
1. Full Solar Eclipse
A full solar eclipse occurs when the Moon, located close to the Earth, travels between the Earth and the Sun, and the Moon completely takes the Earth into its shadow zone. As a result, sunlight does not reach the Earth and a dark state arises when the entire sun is not visible on the Earth. An eclipse in this way is called a complete solar eclipse.
2. Partial Solar Eclipse
In a partial solar eclipse, when the Moon moves between the Sun and the Earth in such a way that only a part of the Sun is not visible from the Earth, that is, the Moon is able to take only a part of the Sun. Because of this, some part of the Sun is unaffected by the eclipse and some part is affected by the eclipse, so the eclipse in that particular part of the Earth is called partial solar eclipse.
3. Annular Solar Eclipse
In an annular solar eclipse, when the Moon is far away from the Earth, and it comes between the Earth and the Sun, that is, the Moon covers the Sun in such a way that only the central part of the Sun comes in the shadow region and when viewed from Earth Then the Moon does not appear completely covered by the Sun, but it appears as a bracelet or ring because the area outside the eclipse is illuminated. A solar eclipse made in a bracelet shape is called an annular solar eclipse.
Rituals
There is a lot of evidence of solar home and solar eclipse in Hindu texts. The most famous is the solar eclipse during the Mahabharata war. Usually, Hindus do no work during solar eclipse and they purify themselves by bathing and reciting mantras. A complete fast is performed by many Hindus during this time period. In Hinduism, taking a dip in holy rivers on the auspicious day is considered very fruitful.
