Bhai Nand Lal (1633-1713) was a 17th century Persian, and Arabic poet in Punjab region. He was born in Ghazni in Afghanistan, lived in Multan; and later became a courtier in Durbar of Guru Gobind Singh. His works include Diwan-e-Goya, Zindgi Nama, Ganj Nama, Joti Bigaas, Arzul Alfaaz, Tausif-o-Sana and Khatima (poetry), and Dastural-Insha.
Built in the 15th century. The Sikh population numbered about 16,000 families. The Sikh numbers presently unknown, but few families still remain there.
