Sikhism, or commonly known as Sikhi is a monotheistic religion founded during the 15th century in the Punjab region, by Guru Nanak and continued to progress through the ten successive Sikh gurus.
It is the fifth-largest organized religion in the world, with approximately 30 million followers. This system of religious philosophy and expression has been traditionally known as the Gurmat (literally `Wisdom of the Guru`).
Other than Gurus there are many Sikh personalities who have contributed a lot in promotion of Sikh Religion.
